Symptoms
Mesothelioma rarely causes symptoms in its early stages, making this disease hard to detect. Any symptoms that do appear early on may be relatively common and can easily be mistaken for less serious diseases of the chest and lungs. Unfortunately, it is also very important to diagnose this disease as early as possible, because it is very hard to treat in advanced stages. Please contact your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms:

Chest pain

Shortness of breath

Chronic cough

Coughing up blood

Fatigue

Unexplained weight loss

Hoarseness or difficulty swallowing

Nausea or vomiting
