Are all appendiceal adenocarcinomas mucinous in nature?

No, the majority of appendiceal adenocarcinomas are mucinous, but other types do exist such as non-mucnious adenocarcinomas or signt-ring cell adenocarcinomas.

What is cytoreductive surgery?

This is a surgery where cancer involving the peritoneal surfaces of the abdomen and pelvis is removed. Due the large surface area of the peritoneum these surgeries are often complicated and take a long period of time.
