Symptoms
AML usually develops and progresses rapidly and causes sudden onset of severe symptoms. See your doctor right away if you experience any of the following signs or symptoms:
Weakness and fatigue
Fever
Unexplained weight loss
Night sweats
Shortness of Breath
Petechiae (red bumps due to bleeding under the skin)
Anemia (low red blood cells)
Leukopenia (low white blood cells)
Thrombocytopenia (low platelets)
Leukostasis
Loss of appetite
