Symptoms

Please contact your doctor if you experience any of the following persistent symptoms:

Hoarseness or change in voice
Hoarseness or change in voice which persists, or lasts, for longer than 2 weeks.
Difficulty swallowing or pain when swallowing
Pain or difficulty swallowing (such as food getting stuck or food going down the wrong pipe.
A mass or lump in the throat
Feeling of fullness in the throat (globus sensation) which persists, or lasts, for more than 2 weeks.
A chronic cough or sore throat
A chronic cough or sore throat lasting longer than 2 weeks.
A chronic ear ache
A chronic ear ache, particularly when pain is experienced in only one of the ears.
Unexplained weight loss
Unexplained, unplanned weight loss
Shortness of breath
Shortness of breath
A lump or mass in the neck from swollen lymph nodes
A lump or mass in the neck from swollen lymph nodes
