Symptoms
Much like ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal cancer may not cause many symptoms in its earlier stages, and any symptoms that do appear may be mistaken for less serious conditions. As the disease progresses, the following symptoms may appear:

Abdominal pain or discomfort

Bloating or swelling of the abdomen (even when not eating more or not exercising)

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation

Fatigue or lack of energy

Frequent need to urinate

Unusual vaginal bleeding or menstrual changes

Loss of appetite, or feeling full after eating only a small amount of food

Unexplained weight changes

Shortness of breath
