Symptoms

The chances for cure after being diagnosed with colorectal cancer are much better when the disease is detected early. Fortunately, doctors can often find the disease early and even prevent it with routine screening tests. When symptoms do occur, they may include the following:

Rectal bleeding, bloody or dark, tar-colored stools
