El h\u00edgado tiene dos l\u00f3bulos: un l\u00f3bulo derecho y un l\u00f3bulo izquierdo.  Sus funciones principales incluyen secretar bilis en los intestinos para asistir en la digesti\u00f3n, descomponer y almacenar los nutrientes, depurar los medicamentos del cuerpo y eliminar las toxinas de la sangre. Adem\u00e1s, produce los factores coagulantes que impiden la p\u00e9rdida masiva de sangre cuando nos lastimamos levemente.<\/p>\n<div class=\"space\" style=\"clear:both; height:15px;\"><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"section-title\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el hepatoblastoma?<\/h4>\n<p class=\"section-content\">El hepatoblastoma es una forma de c\u00e1ncer de h\u00edgado primario poco frecuente que se encuentra \u00fanicamente en los ni\u00f1os. Esta enfermedad afecta principalmente a los ni\u00f1os desde el primer a\u00f1o de vida hasta los 5 a\u00f1os de edad y, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, se presenta en menores de 18 meses.  Los hepatoblastomas pueden extenderse a otras partes del cuerpo, con mayor frecuencia a los pulmones o al abdomen.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><div class=\"clearboth\"><\/div><\/p>\n<div
