Symptoms
In type 2 diabetes, the symptoms are caused by an abnormally high level of blood-glucose (hyperglycemia). Type 2 diabetes may cause any of the following symptoms:

Extreme thirst

Frequent urination

Extreme hunger

Glucose in the urine

Unexplained weight loss or weight gain

Fatigue

Distortion of vision

Numbness or tingling in the hands and feet

Wounds that heal slowly
