Symptoms

Gallbladder cancer often doesn't cause any symptoms early on because of its small size and location behind the liver. In the U.S., a common presentation of gallbladder cancer is an incidental finding at surgery. Patients undergoing gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy) for gallstones maybe found to have previously unsuspected cancer in the gallbladder wall. Gallbladder cancer has often already spread outside of the gallbladder by the time it is diagnosed. Contact a doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms:

Abdominal pain

Jaundice
Eyes and Skin turning yellow
