What are the symptoms of cancer?
Cancer causes different symptoms depending on its severity and its location in the body. However, here are some universal symptoms that are common in many forms of cancer:
A lump or thickening in part of the body
A sore that does not heal
Chronic cough or hoarseness
Bowel or bladder changes, including dark, black stools, worsening diarrhea, or blood in the urine
Unexplained weight gain or weight loss
Unusual bleeding or discharge
Skin irritation and discoloration
