Symptoms
Some GISTs may not cause any symptoms, but many GISTs bleed and cause bloody stools. GISTs may also cause the following symptoms. Contact your doctor as soon as possible if you experience any of these symptoms.
Blood in the stool or vomit
Persistent or recurring abdominal pain or discomfort
A lump, mass or swelling in the abdomen
Trouble or pain when swallowing
Nausea and/or vomiting
Feeling full after only a little or no food is eaten
Feeling very tired
